State Question 834 Passes and 833 Rejected

Oklahoman’s pass one state question but reject another. State question 834 which clarifies that only citizens of the United States can vote in elections was approved by 80 percent of the vote. State question 833 fails with less than 40 percent. That question would have allowed cities to create public infrastructure districts allowing private property owners and developers to pay for infrastructure projects that benefit their area without tax increases.
