some of the worst air in the nation

The air over the metro area of Oklahoma City to Shawnee is ranked 25th worst in the nation for yearly particulate pollution.  The area is 46th out of 228 metro areas for high ozone days.  That’s from the findings of the 2024 State of the Air report from the American Lung Association.
