Sheriff Tommy Johnson Works to Omit Oklahoma County from List of Sanctuary Counties

Oklahoma County Sheriff Tommy Johnson says the studies in a report that labels Oklahoma County as a sanctuary county are incorrect.

“This is outdated information from a previous administration, and it is not current policy of the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office,” Johnson said.

The Center for Immigration Studies cited Oklahoma County as a sanctuary county, but Johnson is asking the study to omit Oklahoma County from the list.
