Several hundred people gathered around the State Capitol complex to protest their opposition of House Bill 4156 known as the immigration bill. It establishes fines and arrests to reduce the number of undocumented people within Oklahoma. It enables local police and state law enforcement to make the arrests giving the people days to leave the state or face more jail time. The bill has the backing of the State House and will be considered by the State Senate soon. No definitive word on what Governor Kevin Stitt will do if the measure comes to his desk.
