Oklahoma Department of Education Provides Tornado Relief

The Oklahoma State Department of Education is offering resources to school districts impacted by recent tornados. State Superintendent Ryan Walters spent some time in Barnsdall to offer help to the school district ranging from waivers or extensions for state testing as well as provide staff for substitute teaching.

Walters says they are discussing summer school programs and if some of the sites need to be moved due to storm damage, they want to ensure those programs go as planned.
