New Law to Protect patients from High medical Costs

A new state law will protect patients from the unexpectedly high cost of common medical procedures.  Nearly a fourth of Oklahomans carry medical debt which is a cause of at least 25 percent of bankruptcies.  Under the law providers who are not compliant with price transparency laws will not be able to obtain a judgment for that medical debt.
