A one hundred-billion-dollar US House natural disaster recovery bill signed late last year has ramifications for areas in the state that suffered tornado damage, according to Representative Tom Cole. Nearly $26 million has been secured to help the Chickasaw National Recreation Area with cleanup and recovery efforts. A committee will be formed soon to prioritize and develop a plan for the recovery.
