The supply of crude oil at the Cushing Oil Hub remains very low. Another 100 thousand barrels have arrived since the last report, but that is still not enough to keep the oil markets steady. The current supply is down to 22 million barrels.
Cushing can hold 98 million barrels, and those in the industry say if the amount held in the large tanks falls too low, it becomes nearly impossible to get out of the tanks.
There is also the issue of falling crude levels at Cushing, which has been partially responsible for recent high crude oil prices.
