Jari Askins to Serve as Interim President at Cameron University

Former Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins will serve as Cameron University’s interim president as the Lawton school looks for a new leader.  The OU Board of Regents, which governs Cameron, recently announced the appointment. Askin’s first day on the job is scheduled for July 22nd.  Askins has asked not to be considered as a candidate for the job.
