Convicted killer Phillip Hancock will be asking for clemency when he goes before the Pardon and Parole Board this week.
The hearing will be this Wednesday, and Hancock is scheduled to be executed by the state two weeks from today. He was sentenced to death for the murders in 2001 of Robert Jett and James Lynch. Hancock has repeatedly argued he acted in self-defense.
