A Guthrie city leader resigns after making a comment on social media regarding the attempted assassination of the former president. In a letter to the Guthrie mayor, Councilman Jim Case wrote his comment on social media was inappropriate and apologized. There is now a vacant seat on the Gutherie City Council.
