A Federal court has dismissed a lawsuit filed by the estate of a man killed by a former Tulsa Police Officer. The lawsuit filed by the estate of Terence Crutcher was dismissed after the Federal Court ruled there was not enough evidence to prove claims of wrongful death and civil rights violations.
The lawsuit against former Police Officer Betty Shelby and the City of Tulsa claimed excessive force. Crutcher was shot and killed by Shelby in 2016. Shelby was found not guilty.
