With record-high temperatures hitting the nation, the issue of electricity cut-offs by utilities becomes more concerning.
Oklahoma Energy Today is reporting that Summit Utilities, an Arkansas company that has thousands of customers in eastern Oklahoma, is in negotiations with Arkansas regulators in a bid to resume shutoffs. The Arkansas Attorney General is opposed to this plan.
