Controversy over videos produced by Ryan Walters

Published and broadcast news reports detail another 50 thousand dollars in tax money that has been spent by State Superintendent Ryan Walters with a Texas marketing firm to make videos. Previous videos featured Walters voicing displeasure with teachers, the teacher’s union, and transgender students. Superintendent Walters calls the videos public awareness which saves the state money because they are contracted instead of being produced in-house.
