The city of Seminole is experiencing growth which is reflected by new development near the new high school. City Manager Steve Saxon describes this growth.
“Thirty new homes are in play right now, and the new hotel is coming out of the ground, and it has got two strip malls…,” Saxon said.
The 28-million-dollar budget includes funding for new police and fire equipment. A new 21-million-dollar water treatment plant will be under construction later this year.
