The Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals is considering whether to uphold the death sentence of a self-proclaimed serial killer. William Reece was sentenced to death for the murder of Tiffany Johnston in 1997 after DNA linked him to the crime nearly 20 years later. Reece’s attorneys claim he was told he would not face the death penalty if he confessed to the killing. He is currently being held in Texas because of his confession in the murders of three women.
