a cultural awakening iN sULPHUR Okla

One million people have visited the center in Sulphur since it opened 14 years ago. Tribal officials say decades of planning preceded the 2010 opening.  The center celebrates and shares the Chickasaw culture with its visitors.  It’s being given credit for a cultural awakening among tribal members.  The center has welcomed guests from as far away as Australia, Nepal, and New Zealand.
